261 is the bib number that Kathrine Switzer wore in the 1967 Boston Marathon, where an angry race director tried to rip it off her during the race solely because she was a woman. Kathrine went on to finish the race and became a champion for women's empowerment and equality in sports. Because of her determination and courage, 261 has come to mean Fearless. 261 Fearless is now a global movement, empowering women through running and community. 261 Fearless is for all female runners, independent of their running abilities and social backgrounds.
